Bruno Mars is among the biggest music stars in the industry. He played in the damn Super Bowl, for crying out loud.

Bruno has a long-term residency at the Park MGM Las Vegas, just one of his many endeavors. He's been in a relationship for almost eight years with the hotel and casino.

Furthermore, according to a recent NewsNation article, Bruno is supposedly deeply involved with MGM on multiple levels.

The source for the publication claims that the pop giant has piled up $50 million in gambling debt with MGM. I must emphasize that as of press time, none of this has been confirmed by Bruno's representatives or by anybody else.

The source asserted, "He owes millions to the MGM. They basically own him."
A few observations: Bruno has never been shy about his preference for video games. In fact, he recently remarked about how much he loves poker during an appearance on Carpool Karaoke (see the rear half of the video below).

Additionally, according to the source, Bruno receives $90 million annually from his current contract with MGM. He recently opened The Pinky Ring, a cocktail lounge, at the Bellagio, another MGM property in Las Vegas.

Bruno will therefore most likely be alright, or very near to it, if any of this is true (which it very well may not be!). Still, crazy stuff, all things considered.

Representative for Bruno declined to respond to NewsNation. BuzzFeed has also requested response from Bruno's team; if we hear back, we'll let you know.
